Enhanced Controls and Easy Operation
The YS-D3’s intuitive backlit control panel uses color-coded lighting—blue for DS-TTL II, orange for OM RC, and green for manual mode—making it easy to switch between settings, even in low light. You also get 11 manual light levels, ensuring precise control for your shots.
Powerful Target Light
Equipped with a 150/300-lumen LED target light, the YS-D3 can also double as a compact dive light, giving you more flexibility during your dives.
Reliable Power and Fast Recycle Times
The strobe is powered by four AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH). Enjoy fast recycle times of 3.5 seconds with alkaline batteries and just 1.7 seconds with NiMH cells, so you’re always ready to capture the action.
Seamless Connectivity and Mounting Options
The strobe features a 5-pin sync cord connector and a fiber-optic port for quick, reliable connections to your underwater camera housing (fiber-optic cables sold separately). It mounts securely with a straight-base ball mount, ensuring stability during dives.
