Ikelite Underwater Camera Housing for Canon PowerShot ELPH 150 HS, IXUS 155 HS Digital Cameras
This Underwater Housing from Ikelite is a waterproof enclosure enabling you to shoot beneath the surface with the Canon PowerShot ELPH 150 IS Digital Camera, a.k.a. the IXUS 155. It has a depth rating of 200′. Mechanical controls, including push-buttons and a knurled knob, enable access to all important camera functions. The housing also allows for the use of the camera’s built-in flash.
Built for durability, the enclosure is designed, constructed, and tested in the USA. It’s manufactured from corrosion-resistant polycarbonate, which is clear to allow you to monitor the o-ring seal and maintain a full view of the camera. The housing’s 3.9″ diameter flat glass lens port accommodates the camera’s lens and also accepts external wide-angle and macro add-on lenses for an increased field of view or extreme close-up shots with better clarity and detail, respectively. You can also add optional color-correction filters to restore colors that get absorbed by the water.
Expand your system by adding an optional AF35 AutoFlash strobe, which features a flex arm and mounts onto the grip handle of an optional tray. This external strobe is triggered as a slave by the firing of the camera’s built-in flash and replicates TTL exposure. The housing is also equipped with dual ports for Ikelite, Sea & Sea, or Olympus-type fiber-optic cables. It comes bundled with a diffuser to soften the light of the camera’s built-in flash and a deflector to redirect it towards an external strobe.
